Hi all,

Welcome to our slice of gaming! Please look around and see if anything takes your fancy. We are a couple of old school gamers who are passionate about Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) and run games over discord to make it more accessible for all. If you are here, you are no doubt wanting to play games and have fun! Our storytellers are Karl and Ant who between, have over 50 years of gaming knowledge with a variety of gaming systems and, in particular, with D&D from as far back as the original 1st edition.
Over the years, we have experienced the joy, wonder and adventure D&D brings. We use discord as a platform, it allows people to play in the safety and comfort of their own home. We also use a variety of tool including D&D Beyond, Owlbear Rodeo and others to enhance your gaming experience.
We currently run the 5th edition of D&D. but should you wish us to run a different game for your group, this is always a possibility - so please get in touch and we can have a chat.

I’ve been playing in a weekly game with Karl as the DM for about 6 months. I entered as a fairly experienced player and this campaign has been completely epic. Karl creates a safe space, outlines the rules in an easy-to-understand way - every player is made to feel completely comfortable and inspired to be creative in the way they play. He delivers exciting content every week, with plenty of time dedicated to growing individual backstories and character arcs, as well as fostering a real sense of a party storyline and the teamwork involved. For new players, there is patience, respect and kindness and I’d recommend him a thousand times over, for new and experienced players alike. I’ve played D&D for about 5/6 years now and this game has by far been my favourite, the storytelling is brilliant and the sense of community is fantastic. Everyone is given a chance to explore and contribute, there’s never a feeling of being left out. It’s judgement-free, creative, rewarding and exciting - everything D&D should be. Joining a new group of players can be nerve-wracking, but what you’ll find is friendliness, good humour and a bunch of amazing people ready for their next awesome adventure.

Hi there, I’ve been playing and running Dungeons and Dragons for over 35 years. I am running several campaigns right now (Ravenloft, Avernus and a homebrew). Historically I have also run other role playing games. such as: Chill, Mutants and Masterminds and All Flesh Must Be Eaten and I am happy to run things other than D&D if requested. I have also adapted and run D&D for younger play (7-8 year old) and have organised games which involved therapeutic play, using D&D as a tool to work through experiences and anxiety.

Hello, I have been playing as a DM for over 10 years, although my first DM experience was over 30 years ago now! Currently I am running several campaigns the longest of which has been going nearly 3 years. Couple of things I am most proud of is teaching kids D&D and introducing new players to the hobby. I had a bunch of kids on and off for close to 10 years and hearing of them still playing and what they are up to is seriously rewarding. My games are very laid back and very newbie friendly and by now I have honestly taught thousands of people to play D&D.
